8 Days!
I haven't had the time to write in this blog because Jason and I have been ridiculously busy. This past week we have tackled everything from final vendor appointments (a nice AOL chat with our DJ), getting finances in order, lots and lots of packing, shopping for gifts and other last minute attire for the wedding weekend. I made a visit to the shoesmith, Jason got his suit pressed and we worked on a very long timeline for the weekend. Also, you all should have gotten a weekend itinerary of what is going on the weekend of the wedding.
Basically things have been very very busy. I guess going into a wedding, one thinks of the major things like a location, a DJ, a cake, etc.. But there are so many small details that need to be attended to. Granted, I am all about details because details are what make the day more personal... but details also cause headaches!
In the end, however, I know that the day is going to be perfect. Even if my box of "details" doesn't get to Tahoe, or if it snows the entire day, I know that all that matters in the end is that Jason and I are married-- that is the REAL reason for throwing this big, detailed, complicated party. Guess I am proving I'll do anything for Jason's love.
