Some things I have cooked recently. I don't usually cook with recipes so they are always going to be a bit vague. After all, cooking is an art not a science!Banana Wontons
1 large banana
8 wonton wrappers
1/4 brown sugar
caramel sauce
a tropical ice cream
oil
1. Heat oil and then lay out the wonton wrappers on a large cookie sheet or on the counter
2. Slice banana into small bites
3. Sprinkle the center of each wonton wrapper with brown sugar and place the banana on top
4. Fold the sides of the wonton in and use water to make sure that it sticks
5. Fry up the wontons until golden brown (about 3 minutes).
6. Place each wonton on a plate around a scoop of ice cream and then drizzle with caramel sauce.Pesto Chicken Pasta w/ Goat Cheese
Whole Wheat Penne Pasta
Diced chicken sauteed in EVOO and garlic
Store-bought pesto sauce
Goat Cheese
Pine Nuts
Mix it all together and enjoy!Wedding Cake
One year later.
Let's just say, I've had better cake...Go-To Garlic Chicken
When I am out of a lot of fresh ingredients but have frozen chicken I rub garlic powder, salt, pepper and dredge them slightly in some flower and then littly "fry" them in the pan. They are so tasty!!
This meal is served with a side salad (very plain, no fresh veggies on hand), and a left-over crab cake.
